Description
Grown in the mountains of Taiwan, it has a floral fragrance and a clean after-taste; light in body but still coats the throat nicely. This is a great place to start if you are new to this genre. Literally “Four Seasons Spring” in Mandarin this cultivar is typically grown at lower elevations and was developed to deliver the flavor of a Spring tea all throughout the year. Usually higher elevation teas are plucked twice per year; once in Spring and once in the late fall – Known as “Winter Harvest”. This tea, however, is plucked up to four times per year.
Steeping Instructions: 1 tsp. Tea leaves for 8 oz. of 208 degree water. Steep for 4 minutes then re-steep with the same leaves as desired.
